Who We Are

A Foundation Built on Community

Amazing Life Foundation (ALF) is a registered Community Based Organisation headquartered in Jinja City, Uganda. Established in January 2018 and formally registered with the Jinja City Development Office, Community Based Services Department in March 2022, we have been dedicated to transforming lives through targeted, evidence-based programmes that address the root causes of inequality in the Busoga sub-region.

Located at Plot 36, Madhivani Road, Jinja City, we work alongside local leaders, schools, health facilities, and families to create lasting change — one community at a time.

Women's Empowerment

Economic upliftment through skills training and enterprise development.

Youth Development

Mentorship, education support, and life-skills programmes for young people.

Child Welfare

Safeguarding children's rights and improving health outcomes for mothers and children.

SRHR Advocacy

Sexual and reproductive health rights advocacy across Jinja and Busoga.

"Saying No to Teenage Pregnancy — because every young woman deserves the freedom to choose her own future."
The Challenge

Teenage pregnancy remains one of the most significant barriers to girls' education and economic participation in the Busoga sub-region, with rates well above the national average.

Our Approach

We use a multi-pronged strategy: school-based education, community dialogue, healthcare linkages, and advocacy with local and district leaders to change norms and systems.

The Timeline

A five-year strategy running from 2022 to 2027, with annual reviews and adaptive management to ensure maximum impact for the girls and women we serve.
