Registered as a Community Based Organisation in Jinja City, Uganda, ALF has spent 8+ years building amazing lives across Busoga.
Amazing Life Foundation (ALF) was established in January 2018 and formally registered with the Jinja City Development Office, Community Based Services Department in March 2022 under registration number JC/056/CBO/2022.
We are dedicated to transforming lives through targeted, evidence-based programmes that address the root causes of inequality across the Busoga sub-region — from Jinja City's urban wards to hard-to-reach rural communities.
Located at Plot 36, Madhivani Road, Jinja City, Uganda, we work alongside local leaders, schools, health facilities, and families to create lasting change, one community at a time.
Economic upliftment through skills training and enterprise development.
Mentorship, education support, and life-skills programmes for young people.
Safeguarding children's rights and improving health outcomes for mothers and children.
Sexual and reproductive health rights advocacy across Jinja and Busoga.
"Saying No to Teenage Pregnancy — because every young woman deserves the freedom to choose her own future."
Teenage pregnancy remains one of the most significant barriers to girls' education and economic participation in the Busoga sub-region, with rates well above the national average.
We use a multi-pronged strategy: school-based education, community dialogue, healthcare linkages, and advocacy with local and district leaders to change norms and systems.
A five-year strategy running from 2022 to 2027, with annual reviews and adaptive management to ensure maximum impact for the girls and women we serve.
